natural light and then flash

I ventured outside to play with my camera...I have an option to take two photos back to back..the first with natural light followed by one with flash. if you don't move around too much, you are getting the same photograph with different lighting...what do you think?

I went outside to take a photo of my daughter's first time on my husband's motorcycle and couldn't resist taking some photos of my black eyed susans....my memory card came up as full so here are the first two...

oh, almost forgot...the original reason I ventured out into the heat to begin with....my daughter on the back of the motorcycle...just a slow ride up and down the street....

these squirrels are sitting on our "perch" that we left on the tree when it was trimmed.

I got the photos from inside the house, out the dining room window.

this is the first time we have seen two on it at once.

we couldn't decide if they were grooming or mating.

actually went out to look at the moon and

captured these night images of my flowers instead

wouldn't you know it, as soon as I decide to take some photos of my black eyed susans, first I can't find the option for black and white, sepia, etc and then my batteries go dead. so here is the one shot I got today. I will be doing my homework tonight.

the first three are obviously from Niagara Falls...I braved the Maid of the Mist and got a few good shots from a lower vantage point. we also took a steam engine ride and was able to get a photo when they were moving the engine from one end of the cars to the other.

I am home from our vacation...I took over 400 photographs but will try to post one for each day we were gone...being 10 photos....the first is from Niagara Falls...taken from the Maid of the Mist viewpoint...check back later for more....

four on the 4th

I tried to capture some of the fireworks...there is a setting on my camera specifically for fireworks..I forgot my tripod so here are a few of the better shots...

I also couldn't resist taking a few photos of my flowers. the first is a day lilly...

the second is actually an impatiens that looks like a rose beginning to bloom...
