I hope you don't mind some feedback/help. I see you try to do some neat stuff but are not sure what to do I think. So, I have borrowed your photo made a few changes and they are available for you to see. I used the totally free online editing tools at www.picnik.com. Great stuff.

Photo #1
is just your basic pic with the picnik auto-fix. Not a bad job of bringing up the contrast which this photo badly needed.

Photo #2
I adjusted contrast contrast and sharpened manually then cropped.

Photo #3
I took photo#2 and added a little blue vignette, border, then rounded corners in the "Create" area. (Don't go too crazy here, but you can get some good enhancements.)

I hope you don't mind and don't feel like I am bullying you. I just want to help and I think you *want* the help. Now you just have to go and play and use a couple new tools. (I know, its only time.)

I love hot air balloons as well. They make great photographic subjects and I got to ride in one for the first time the other day. Got some great photos as well. They can be seen here: http://fireflyafrica.blogspot.com/2008/08/hot-air-ballooning.html
