I am experimenting with black and white.
the following two are the same shot, first in black and white then in color.
the B&W give the photos a different sort of feeling, don't they?

I also like the black and white images - they make for great kids portraits! About photohunt - a new theme is posted each week and you have to post a photo that goes with the theme each Saturday. The only rule is that it has to be a photo that you shot. For more information on how it works and what the upcoming themes are, go to http://tnchick.com

You did it! Good job. :-) B&W photography requires a little more attention to composition because there is no color to distract from composition. (From my perspective any way.) You might want to try adding in a little more contrast though when you do your conversions. To get dome really "artistic" conversions, try using a different hue. It is like adding a filter in the old film days. (Commonly found under Hue/Saturation sliders.)

Keep up the good work and experiment!
