this photo of my grandmother's hand is a few years old but I still can't help but to love it. she will be 87 this December...I can remember when I was little, she would always paint my fingernails. she can no longer do this for herself
but she goes every few weeks and gets her own done.

it is almost as if you can tell the story of her life just by looking at her hand.

I love it! To think of all the babies those hands have held, the tears they've wiped, the meals they've cooked, and so much more. Great idea!
It's a portrait without showing a face. I love it! I can only imagine the stories that go along with those hands.
