do you ever come across something you haven't seen in a very long time? most times, hopefully, whatever you find brings back good memories...sometimes, they bring back not so good memories.

and sometimes, they bring back both.

below is a photo of me and my friend, Kristi. this was taken in a bar in Charleton, IL, while we attended EIU. it was one of our favorite places to go...Marty's. (this is also about 19 years ago!)

the next one is at my friend Tami's wedding. I haven't seen Susie, Tami or Doreen in a long time..maybe since this wedding. this is the mid-90's.

ah, another bar photo. this is a guy I knew in college that was, what do you call it in college? ....let's just say we spent a lot of time together. we studied together, shared beers together and hung out alot. then he went and broke my heart. (sounds harsh, and maybe it wasn't the worst let down of my life, but he is someone I remember hurting me~one of those you remember ALL of your life.)

yeah! my friends, Kerri and Dina. met them my freshman year and we remained friends throughout college. they both were in sorority houses...I was not. I always said I did not need to buy my friends...my other friend, Tami...she even went as far as to get a t-shirt..GDI....Gamma Delta Ioata...God Damned Independant.

and finally...my friend, Ron. we met my freshman year, too. I was going into the dining hall to eat and happened to be wearing shorts from my summer job. it so happened that his dad was one of three owners of the amusement park where I worked...we ended up being great friends. I can remember laughing so hard with Ron my stomach hurt.
